Ninety seconds.

The same place I came back to.

A free cortices balance for people who want a daily conversation with the body, not another program.

Tap In now

I set the public clinic down for a few years. Babies, a move to rural Crestone, a house that became the whole world. What I kept was not a brand. It was this. Hands on my own head. Most days. Whether I believed in the day or not.

Cortices is the first technique in BodyTalk Access. About a minute if you are quick, ninety seconds if you are honest. It is how I met postpartum, a long illness, teenagers, and a valley where the hospital is not close. I am not offering it as a promise. I am offering the door I actually used.

What this is

A free, short course in the cortices balance, the first technique in BodyTalk Access and the one I trust when nothing else is going to happen that day.

You will learn the science and philosophy behind it: why the head, why the two sides of the brain, why a formula this small can change the tone of a nervous system. You will see why we tap, and where the hands go, so the move is not a guess. Then you will do it. On yourself. And, if you want, with a friend, a child, or a client who is willing.

It is about ninety seconds once you know it. The lessons are longer than that, because the first time should be slow. After that it belongs in a kitchen, a car, a school pickup line, the minute before you walk into a hard room.

This is the technique I used on my own head through postpartum depression and a long illness after my son was born in 2023. It is what my daughters picked up for themselves. It is what I still do before the day gets loud. I am teaching the application, not selling a result.

Who it is for

Practitioners who already know BodyTalk and want the foundation back in their hands, clean, without a new module stacked on top.

Students who have heard of Access and want the first balance before they commit to a course.

Parents and caregivers. People holding a house, a teenager, a new baby, someone else's crisis. You do not need a license to use this on yourself or, with permission, on your own family.

Anyone who has been on this list through the quiet years. I set the public clinic down. I did not set this down. If you wondered where I went, this is the honest restart.

You do not need to be well to begin. You need to be willing to come back tomorrow.

What it is not

Not a cure, and not a promise. Cortices did not erase the postpartum depression or the long illness after my son was born. It did not take the pain out of a hard season, and it did not organize a chaotic day for me. It gave me a floor. Enough steadiness to stay, enough quiet to find the next clear thought, enough of a pause that stress had somewhere to set down. That is a different claim, and it is the only one I will make.

Not a substitute for a physician, a midwife, a therapist, or emergency care. If you are in danger, call for help. This sits beside the wait. It does not replace it.

Not a magic pill, even on the days it feels like one. The quick rescue, the heroic healer, health happening in a vacuum: that is the illusion this work keeps taking apart. Ninety seconds will not fix a life. Repeated, it can change how you meet one.

Not a funnel dressed up as a gift. No live bonus tacked on to make the free thing look bigger. No sequence after it unless you ask. The course is the course. The rest of the conversation, mentorship, Access, the longer trainings, can wait until you have actually used this.

The 90 Second brain balance

Cortices is the first technique in BodyTalk Access. Once you know it, it takes about a minute. Ninety seconds if you are not rushing.

It is not a trick for a better morning routine. It is what you can do when the day has already gone sideways. The email you did not want. The child who will not get in the car. The slump at 3 p.m. The old pain that shows up when you are tired. The argument still sitting in your chest. Hands on your head. A formula. A breath. Then you go back to the dishes.

BodyTalk uses it to bring the two sides of the brain back into conversation with each other, and with the rest of the body. Stress, little and large, breaks that conversation. A fender bender. A bad night. Years of holding it together. Cortices is the short way back to contact. Not a new personality. A clearer signal.

People often notice the room gets quieter. Focus comes back enough to finish the thing in front of them. The edge comes off. I will not promise you a better memory or a life without anxiety. I will say this is the balance I used on myself when I could not do anything more ambitious, and the one I still use before the house wakes up.

You can do it on yourself. You can do it, with permission, on a partner, a child, a client. The bumps do not have to be dramatic to count. Most of them are not.

That is the whole technique. Small enough to survive a real Tuesday.
